Grooming

  • MALE – Hair neatly trimmed & combed, conservative style and off the collar. Freshly clean shaven or beards and moustaches that are short & well-groomed
  • FEMALE – Long hairstyles must be tied back with accessories MATCHING hair colour, IN A TIGHT OR TIDY BUN or DONUT (Short hairstyles must be very tidy & off the face)

Jewellery & Accessories

  • Watches – Conservative styles allowed in silver, gold or black
  • Rings – Wedding rings sets or 2 rings per hand are acceptable, no bulky styles
  • Bracelets – Medical only
  • Necklaces – No visible necklaces
  • Piercings – No facial piercings or visible body piercings, females may wear one pair of hoop or stud style earrings, no larger than a five-cent piece
  • Tattoos – No visible tattoos
  • Makeup – Natural & neutral tones only, do not overuse
  • Perfume / Cologne – do not overuse
  • Nail polish – Nails clean, shirt & well-manicured, no nail polish allowed

Staff Entrance

Enter the main entrance on Dukes Walk and report to bar for further directions

 

Public Transport

From Southern Cross Station catch tram #96,109 or 1 (Port Melbourne) to stop #124A (Crown) then walk along the river heading towards the Pan Pacific Hotel and keeping MCEC on your left hand side about 500 metres (7 minutes)

Car Parking

Driving Directions
Google DFO South Wharf or Pan Pacific Hotel South Wharf & park in DFO carpark, Walk towards the water and turn left, it’s the last venue on the riverfront (approx 500m past the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and the Pan Pacific Hotel South Wharf)

 

Free parking may be available off Normanby Road otherwise there is parking available (Fees apply) by turning hard left at the first entry gate (not continue going straight ahead through the gate towards DFO building)
*During business hours a temp parking pass is available from the DFO office for $9.00 a day
**Regular workers can obtain permanent parking pass for $7.00 a day

Pay & Conditions

Pay and Conditions for this site are governed by the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 [MA000009]. Pay Rates for Casual Classification apply as a Monday-Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday rate. For details go to http://awardviewer.fwo.gov.au/award/show/MA000009

Meal Break Provisions

All team members must bring their own meals to be consumed during 30-minute, unpaid scheduled breaks if shift exceeds 6 hours
