    Chef - WHITE chef jacket, BLACK & WHITE small check or plain black pants, apron, skull cap / hat, non-slip safety shoes, sharpened knife kit, Hotelstaff timesheets.

    Food or Beverage Attendant - Men's WHITE business shirt, black tailored trousers, long black tie, black fully enclosed leather shoes, long black socks, waiters friend, plain black name badge, Hotelstaff timesheets, note pad & pen. Aprons are provided by the client.

    Barista - Men's BLACK business shirt, black tailored trousers, long black tie, black fully enclosed leather shoes, long black socks, waiters friend, plain black name badge, Hotelstaff timesheets, note pad & pen. Aprons are provided by the client.

    Kitchenhand - BLACK Polo Shirt/T-Shirt (no logos), BLACK Tailored Trousers, BLACK Apron, Skull Cap/Hat, Safety Boots, Timesheets

    Personal Grooming

    Pay attention to personal grooming habits. Ensure you maintain high levels of both grooming and hygiene.

    HAIR STYLE - Keep hair neat & tidy. Long hair styles must be tied back with a matching accessories.

    FACIAL HAIR - Faces must be clean shaven (no stubble). Beards and moustaches short & well-trimmed.

    NAILS - To be clean, short and well manicured, no polish or false nails

    MAKE-UP - Minimise make up and ensure neutral colours.

    HYGIENE - Regular showering, brushing your teeth and using deodorant. Minimise strong scents.

    JEWELERY - Wear minimal jewellery. Remove facial piercings and multiple ear piercings. Stud style earrings are acceptable. Watches & wedding bands are okay.

    TATTOOS - No visible tattoos

Enter the building and report to reception for further directions.

Public Transport

The venue is located in Eildon, approximately 140-150 km northeast of Melbourne, in Central Victoria.

Very limited public transport options are available and may require you to take a taxi and walk considerable distances.

We recommend staff drive to and from the venue.

Please prepare your route in advance, Reception can be patchy in the area.

Car Parking

There is onsite carparking available:

  • Start slowing down at the bridge, as shortly after, you will see the sign on the left hand side of the road; Holmesglen at Eildon, which directs you to turn right onto Moore Road.
  • Drive to the end of Moore Road and through our entrance gate until you reach the intersection, from which you either head straight ahead to the Homestead or left to Main Reception, as indicated on the sign.
  • Continue along this road approximate 2km until you reach the Centre, the road veers right at the top of the hill and winds its way along past the Manager’s House and on up that hill until reaching the Centre. The speed limit along this road is 25 km/h, it is a dirt road and can be slippery when wet, and there is often wildlife on the road.

Accommodation

Onsite accommodation will be provided for staff as required. Accommodation is either onsite or located at a venue a few kilometres away.

Linen, towels and bedding are provided.

Staff will have access to the pool in summer.

 

Induction & Payroll

No online induction required. Request a Site Induction from supervisor on arrival.

Pay and Conditions for this site are governed by the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 [MA000009].

Pay Rates for casual classifications apply as a Monday-Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday rates.

Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - Mandatory for FOH Roles

  1. Ensure you have a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  2. You will need to complete a refresher course (opens in a new window) every 3 years to keep your RSA current.
