Uniforms must be clean and well-fitted. Undergarments should match the colour of the outergarments.
Chef - WHITE long sleeved chef jacket, BLACK & WHITE small check or plain black pants, apron, skull cap / hat, non-slip safety shoes, sharpened knife kit, Hotelstaff timesheets.
Food or Beverage Attendant - Men's WHITE business shirt, black tailored trousers, long black tie, black fully enclosed leather shoes, long black socks, waiters friend, plain black name badge, Hotelstaff timesheets, note pad & pen. Aprons are provided by the client.
Barista - Men's BLACK business shirt, black tailored trousers, long black tie, black fully enclosed leather shoes, long black socks, waiters friend, plain black name badge, Hotelstaff timesheets, note pad & pen. Aprons are provided by the client.

Personal Grooming
Pay attention to personal grooming habits. Ensure you maintain high levels of both grooming and hygiene.
HAIR STYLE - Keep hair neat & tidy. Long hair styles must be tied back with a matching accessories.
FACIAL HAIR - Faces must be clean shaven (no stubble). Beards and moustaches short & well-trimmed.
NAILS - To be clean, short and well manicured, no polish or false nails
MAKE-UP - Minimise make up and ensure neutral colours.
HYGIENE - Regular showering, brushing your teeth and using deodorant. Minimise strong scents.
JEWELERY - Wear minimal jewellery. Remove facial piercings and multiple ear piercings. Stud style earrings are acceptable. Watches & wedding bands are okay.
TATTOOS - No visible tattoos

Otherwise, enter via the main entrance following the details below.
All staff are to enter via main Zoo entrance.
If driving there is free parking, please park in staff carpark - enter main carpark and turn RIGHT, drive towards the staff carpark at the far back behind signs RESTRICTED AREA. (Photo attached).
Then walk towards Visitor Entrance, turn right before Zoo Entry, towards the Visitor Information Centre / toilet block, head to the right of this building onto the pathway into trees.
You will see a locked gate. Please call Chef Manager Anthony Siketa 0422 953 110 and someone from the kitchen will come and meet you.
Werribee Open Range Zoo is located 35 kilometres west of Melbourne’s city centre, on the Princes Freeway. It is a short 30-minute drive from the city over the Westgate Bridge or via the Geelong Road. (Take the Werribee South exit to K Road.)

This venue is located 33km from the Melbourne CBD. We recommend driving, however public transport is also an option via train & bus.
Pay and Conditions for this site are governed by the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 [MA000009].
Pay Rates for casual classifications apply as a Monday-Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday rates.
