Uniforms must be clean and well-fitted. Undergarments should match the colour of the outergarments.

Chef - WHITE chef jacket, BLACK & WHITE small check or plain black pants, apron, skull cap / hat, non-slip safety shoes, sharpened knife kit, Hotelstaff timesheets.

Food or Beverage Attendant - Men's WHITE business shirt, black tailored trousers, long black tie, black fully enclosed leather shoes, long black socks, waiters friend, plain black name badge, Hotelstaff timesheets, note pad & pen. Aprons are provided by the client.

Barista - Men's BLACK business shirt, black tailored trousers, long black tie, black fully enclosed leather shoes, long black socks, waiters friend, plain black name badge, Hotelstaff timesheets, note pad & pen. Aprons are provided by the client.

Kitchenhand - BLACK Polo Shirt/T-Shirt (no logos), BLACK Tailored Trousers, BLACK Apron, Skull Cap/Hat, Safety Boots, Timesheets

Catering Assistant – BLACK Polo Shirt/T-Shirt (no logos), BLACK Tailored Trousers, BLACK Apron, Skull Cap/Hat, Safety Shoes, Name Badge, Timesheets

Personal Grooming

Pay attention to personal grooming habits. Ensure you maintain high levels of both grooming and hygiene.

HAIR STYLE - Keep hair neat & tidy. Long hair styles must be tied back with a matching accessories.

FACIAL HAIR - Faces must be clean shaven (no stubble). Beards and moustaches short & well-trimmed.

NAILS - To be clean, short and well manicured, no polish or false nails

MAKE-UP - Minimise make up and ensure neutral colours.

HYGIENE - Regular showering, brushing your teeth and using deodorant. Minimise strong scents.

JEWELERY - Wear minimal jewellery. Remove facial piercings and multiple ear piercings. Stud style earrings are acceptable. Watches & wedding bands are okay.

TATTOOS - No visible tattoos

Staff Entrance

St Kevins College is located in Toorak - approx 5km south east from the Melbourne CBD.

If driving enter via the gates on Moonga Road. If using Pubilc Transport enter via the Gates at Heyington Railway Station.

During school hours, report to Reception. Sign in as per St Kevin's College policy. Let them know you are working for Trippas White Group in the kitchen.

After hours, head straight to the kitchen door. Report to the site manager or chef.

Access if using Public Transport, Heyington Train Station adjoins the Toorak campus, with direct access to the school from the station. (see photos below)

You have been booked for the Toorak Campus.

The venue is accessible via car or Public Transport.

Onsite Parking

  • Limited parking is available onsite
  • Limited Parking on site. Enter main gate and park in white unmarked bays opposite oval.
    Walk up hill to find reception and kitchen. No parking permitted at top of hill, outside of reception.

Street Parking

  • available around surrounding streets, time limits and fees may apply

Please note you will not be able to leave shift to move parking location while on shift

Compliance Certificates

Working with Childrens Check (Victorian) - must have physical card on person

  1. Obtain a Working with Childrens Check (Victorian), ensuring it is valid employment type check (not volunteer)

Police Check (National)

  1. Obtain a National Police Record Check, including full disclosures – not only unspent, but spent and vulnerable persons / unsupervised

Pay and Conditions

Pay and Conditions for this site are governed by the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 [MA000009].

Pay Rates for casual classifications apply as a Monday-Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday rates.

All team members must bring their own meals to be consumed during 30-minute, unpaid scheduled breaks if shift exceeds 6 hours.
